Kiss This Media (“KTM”) is committed to fostering informed discussion, responsible journalism, professional conduct, and meaningful engagement in the transportation industry.This Content & Community Policy applies to all contributors, guests, commenters, users, advertisers, sponsors, and anyone who submits or interacts with content on our platforms (website, newsletters, podcasts, social media, etc.).

OUR MISSION
KTM exists to deliver honest reporting, industry insight, commentary, storytelling, education, and community engagement for transportation professionals. We encourage strong opinions, respectful disagreement, passionate debate, and open conversation — while upholding standards of respect, accuracy, and legality.

COMMUNITY EXPECTATIONS
We ask all participants to: 

• Engage respectfully and professionally 
• Debate ideas, not attack individuals 
• Share relevant industry knowledge and experiences 
• Contribute constructively and in good faith 
• Respect differing viewpoints 
• Take responsibility for the accuracy and impact of their words

PROHIBITED CONTENT
KTM may remove, edit, or refuse any content that includes:

General Prohibited Conduct

• Harassment, bullying, or personal attacks 
• Threats, intimidation, or doxxing 
• Hate speech or discriminatory content 
• Obscene, sexually explicit, or excessively vulgar material 
• Spam, repetitive promotional content, or phishing 
• Fraudulent, misleading, or impersonation content 
• Copyright infringement or unauthorized use of intellectual property 
• Malicious links, malware, or harmful code

Transportation-Specific Prohibited Content

• Encouragement of FMCSA, DOT, OSHA, or other regulatory violations 
• Promotion of unsafe driving practices, impaired driving, distracted driving, or reckless behavior 
• Encouragement to falsify logs, hours-of-service records, or safety documents 
• Promotion of unlawful transportation activities or workplace safety violations

COMMENTS & USER-GENERATED CONTENT
Users are solely responsible for the content they submit. KTM does not endorse user opinions. We reserve the right to: 

• Edit content for clarity, length, grammar, or compliance 
• Refuse publication 
• Remove or hide previously published content 
• Disable comments on specific articles or site-wide 
• Restrict or ban users

Submission does not guarantee publication or response.

CONTRIBUTORS & GUEST AUTHORS
Contributors, podcast guests, and interviewees must: 

• Submit original work 
• Disclose any potential conflicts of interest 
• Make reasonable efforts to ensure factual accuracy 
• Respect copyright and intellectual property rights 
• Avoid plagiarism

KTM may edit submissions and reserves the right to reject any that do not meet our standards.

SOCIAL MEDIA & THIRD-PARTY CONTENT
We may quote, embed, critique, or comment on publicly available social media posts and reviews for journalistic or commentary purposes. We generally avoid publishing content from private accounts or groups without permission or clear journalistic justification.

REVIEWS & RATINGS
Content such as “Truck Stop Takes” or similar segments may reference public reviews and feedback. Unless stated otherwise, we do not independently verify every third-party claim. Such content represents opinion, not verified fact.

SPONSORED CONTENT
All sponsored, paid, or affiliate content will be clearly labeled as such. Sponsors and advertisers have no control over editorial decisions or story selection.

USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
We may use AI tools to assist with research or drafting. All published content undergoes human review and editing.

MODERATION & ENFORCEMENT
KTM makes moderation decisions at its sole discretion to protect the integrity of our platform. Enforcement actions may include content removal, comment restrictions, temporary suspension, permanent bans, or reporting to authorities when appropriate.
